BUZZ Player HD App Reviews

App craches

A lot while playing movies from pc

The best app Ive found

This is the best app Ive found that will play HD video directly from a NAS. It occasionally crashes. It occasionally needs a reboot. It occasionally acts weird. It never gets updated. Id like to see the app fix some of the stability issues.

New version is worthless

The new version is worthless. The icon view makes it impossible to read all but the first few and last few characters of file names. But that doesnt matter because it no longer plays anything at all. It simply locks up entirely. Seriously, the. New version is pathetic. Time to switch to another player. One that actually displays file names and plays files.

So good!

The only one that can stream none mp4 video to AppleTV and Chromecast.

best for my AppleTV

Now i can watch my movies on AppleTV with subtitle. Thanks.

The best

I love this app so much!

Looks and works great!

Cool player app for iPad! Works great and supports any of my movies!

Remarkable!

This media player will do almost anything. It takes some time to learn the many features but is well worth it. The company is responsive to comments, suggestions, and questions. Highest possible rating.

Works with my wdtv live hub

I use this to access my wd tv live hub and watch movies on my iPad. It works well despite the occasional crash, which is understandable. Works great and without delay.

Stream to Chromecast incomplete

Buzz player streams mp4 and mkv to CC pretty well. Unfortunately avi doesnt stream as good. avi video streams to CC for 10 seconds before locking up both audio and video. I look forward to updates with avi to CC streaming fixed.

Superb

Works really good with my MKVs movies and anime. Works fine with AppleTV & Chromecast.

Great except one thing

The app is great for media playing. My only complaint is that the WebDAV/http server only allows one file at a time. Please allow multiple file uploads!

Look no further...

If you are looking to play video files on your iPad and stream to your TV (AppleTV *or* ChromeCast) this is the app for you. I went through ~13 different apps trying to find a way to play videos stored on my iMac on my new iPad with much disappointment. If you didnt have to convert the files first (like VLC) you got poor A/V sync (PlayerXtreme). While this app plays everything Ive thrown at it, it isnt free from issues. That you can only upload one file at a time through the HTTP interface is a disappointment, saved by the network browser where you can select and dl multiple files. The UI is a little less than perfect with confusing and small buttons along with menus that are also too small, it takes some time for it to make sense. Beyond these minor quirks, it plays video of all types *beautifully*, so if you need to watch your anime (or whatever) on your iPad, this is the only app you will need. Worth every penny.

Amazing app!

As someone who usually requires a lot from an app, Buzz Player HD doesnt disappoint. You can read about the many features of this app yourself, but let me explain what I needed in a multimedia player app... 1. Connect remotely over the Internet to my computer at home via FTP or WebDAV. 2. Stream my 720p and 1080p movies remotely 3. Save my movies from home to my iPhone remotely so I can watch them later when I dont have an Internet connection (like on an airplane, etc) 4. Connect to my computer and do all the above while on my home wifi network. In truth there are more features that I wanted than these, and Buzz Player delivers on those too. Its just that an app that does those 4 things above well is hard to find in the App Store. That makes Buzz Player a rarity and a gem. Now if youre not at least technically curious, and have no interest in learning about setting up your own FTP server, leaning about internet IP addresses, and port forwarding in your router, then there are easier apps out there that will stream your movies using a helper app that installs on your computer. Some optimize and transcode the stream in real time to adjust to a weak signal in order to prevent stutter, which is excellent by the way... But they wont save the file to your iPhone like Buzz Player will. Buzz Player HD does it all! I highly recommend this excellent app.

Just great!

Unfortunately, my english skills are not on that level to describe this app, butt still Im going to try. Years ago this was the first player I discovered on the app store capable to play every file format, specially over samba servers with so many options, and after the facelift last year looks really great. Especially the HD version. I bought an chromecast dongle, because of this player, and I could say I cant find any other player compatible to stream 1080 mkv files flawlessly to chromecast. Keep up the good work guys.

Best Media Player on iOS!!!!!

Plays anything you can throw at it. All audio codecs and video codecs can be played. Converter stopped working for some reason. Otherwise Simply put great app!

Best Player with awesome features...

Absolutely best player compared to all other players. Many features which makes it unique.Plays 1080 resolution without any lags and this the feature I am enjoying on my iPad 3 which was lacking in other players.Few suggestions 1-Last play back position should be improved.2-Add resolution to the settings as when I play many movies on my iPad.almost 40-60% of screen is showing black bars..Provide resolution of 16:10,2.35:1..Thanks for the app and regular updates.

THE BEST OF THE BEST

This app is incredible insofar as it has performed flawlessly. Indeed, I have yet to find any format that it will not play. This app is light years ahead of similar apps such as Playable Pro. The difference the two is not unlike what Elsey the Cow is when compared to Secretariat. NUFF SAID.

Simply the Best!

The only app I write a review on every version of it. THIS IS THE BEST VIDEO PLAYER ON iOS. Unprecedented. Unmatched!

Best player but...

Good thumbnail video even when syncing to NAS. Good Customize gesture control.. But it crashes many times that I have to give up using it. Its fine if u watch one video but if u play and stop a few video- like trying to find a video by watching 30-40 sec each and then switch to next video it will crash.
